Postal Strike

So the postal workers want to go on strike. I think they're lucky to have a job at the moment. Their strike will affect a lot of mail order companies who rely heavily on the postal service. I wonder if they've thought of all the repercussions - while the whole country is in the state that it is in. I can't help but think they're looking very short term at their problems. I'm sure they must have real gripes with conditions and pay etc to want to strike but at least they have a pay packet coming in whereas a lot don't and the rest of us will go on as best we can until things get better.

That aside we had Scrapbook Club last night which went well but we all felt a bit tired - actually I've nearly finished my Disney Holiday from 2005!!!! Just 2 pages to go and then the journaling and the titivating and then I can start on our other Disney holiday from 2007. For those of you who don't Scrapbook I would recommend it. I started because I had to run the club and now I absolutely love it - looking back over those old memories and having a well documented memory album to look through - it's well worth it in these dark evenings to have something to look back on and also have something nice to do.
