Well did you watch it on BBC last night? For those who don't know what this is all about let me briefly explain - it's a programme with invited guests consisting of politicians mostly then maybe an author or some other member/s of the community who have a lot to say. They debate various things with questions offered by the audience. Last nights guests included Nick Griffin - the BNP leader(the British Nationalist Party). Anyway there was uproar before, during and after the programme because he was an invited guest and some saw this as giving him a platform. Well, he seemed a very confused politician to me and couldn't quite get over what he believed and then he stated that he did not know why he said the things he did in the past eg in the past he said that the Holocaust was just propaganda!!!!!! he now states he doesn't know why he said that!!!!! Well I have recorded it so that I can watch it again. I must say I did feel a bit sorry for him because EVERYONE was against him (and I don't like bullying of any sort) but he did keep a smile on his face throughout the programme.
The media asked people in the "street" what they thought of this and the general feeling was that it was good to get him on there because the voters can see exactly what he was like ie he couldn't seem to get any policy over well and so really didn't do himself any favours.
Now back to the shop well the new papercrafting stock we have in is absolutley gorgeous so worth looking at and we shall use these in our classes which are now beginning to book up. If you have any suggestions please feel free to tell us.
Anybody reading this within a driving distance might like come down to visit for the day - it's a glorious day (at the time of typing) - nice walks, nice cafe/restaurants and the most well stocked craft shop in the South West with wonderful, all knowing staff who give the best service.
