It's that looking forward to the weekend feeling again! Sometimes life seems to just go on by each day - nothing too different from the day before and then it's weekend again but at the moment even weekends aren't that different. Maybe that sounds boring but actually there is some comfort to be had in routine. It's only when you don't have that do you realise how nice it is to know what's what.
What makes weekends special - only one thing really - football! That means getting as much housework done before the football starts on Saturday and Sunday.
We're sitting quite pretty in Cornwall It's windy and quite often wet but we don't have any flooding and for the most part have everything we need. Of course I'm thinking of those up in Cumbria. Heaven only knows what sort of a Christmas they will have. Christmas is a very important family time of year for us and I would hate for it to be disrupted in any way so I can only wish those people well and hope they can have a more meaningful time this Christmas than the commercialism that we all suffer.
