Well I've not done my blog for a few days - illness - but on the mend now I think. What a change in the weather - it seems we're now in winter, dark nights, cold, wind and rain. Now's the time to get knitting woolly jumpers, hats, scarves and gloves. The yarns that are available now are just gorgeous, I don't know which to start with. So I've picked Katia Azteca and I'm knitting a cardigan and I'm really pleased with it.
If your interested in knitting a scarf the Katia "Big Snow Lux is flying out and is lovely. It just takes one ball at £11.95 to knit a big scarf, you just need the ball of yarn and no 8mm needles, cast on 8 stitches and knit 'til you run out of yarn and cast off. What could be easier than that.
On a sad note I thought it was shocking about the loss of lives in Afghanistan - do these people want help? Are they any nearer finding solutions out there. Thank goodness my boys are not in the army!
