Well, summer holidays are over, the kids are back at school so what can we focus on now? My background for this is - my other half (husband) used to be in the Navy and ALWAYS went to sea about now. I hated it so got myself into the habit of finding something to focus on - which was Christmas. Planning what presents I would buy, when I should make the Christmas Cake, when I could make my Christmas Cards etc etc.
He's not in the Navy anymore but I can't seem to break the habit - I love Christmas, it conjures up lovely warm feelings and great family times together so I'm only too happy to keep up this "tradition" I've created.
Having the shop only reinforces this as I have to order Christmas stock early so this "feeds my habit". Actually, just to say - if anyone is thinking of making any Christmas presents or Christmas cards or even Christmas decorations such as (Quilted wall hangings) you really should think about it soon and take the pressure away from manic November and December.
Remember: - The early bird catches the worm!
