Life is NEVER dull. At the moment hubby is away and of course is supposed to come back on Sunday - but will he get a flight I wonder? or will I get another night of "good" sleep? Time will tell. Who'd of thought that a volcano in Iceland could cause more disruption than the staff striking? Life has a funny side sometimes.
Well the politics have started in earnest and already I'm bored but would really like to know more. If only they could say what they're about and not what the other parties are not doing or are doing badly. This really does not let people know what their Party is about, ie as an employer will they give us any rights or are all the rights now with the employed. I would like to think that I am a good employer and try my best but at the end of the day does it matter 'coz I don't have any rights. I think if only one Party stood up and only concentrated on their policies I would vote for them!! (I think, maybe not)
It has been a busy week this week with Scrapbook Club on Monday, Band on Tuesday, meeting on Wednesday, Knitting Club on Thursday and out playing with the band on Friday and Saturday - well I'm off to Callington (near Plymouth) to take (and watch hopefully) child no. 4 play football for Porthleven First team, and then take and watch him play football on Sunday morning and then rest. Then we're back to working again on Monday. Why do weekends rush by so quick but the "working" days of the week don't go so quick?
Well I think I'll just go and do some knitting to relax now.
